Shipping Time Frame
These rates are for shipping via Media Mail in the USA, and Expedited Parcel in Canada. The general time frame for receiving orders with regular shipping is 10-14 days from ordering. If you need an order shipped faster than this, please let us know when you order, or contact us and we’ll see what we can do! Orders over $75 may be eligible for subsidized priority shipping.
Backorders & Out-of-Stock Items
We will let you know as soon as possible if an item on our order is out of stock and if there will be any delay. If you wish to replace the out-of-stock item with another book, we can do this for you. We may need additional payment info if your order changes.
Changing Your Order
If your order has not been processed, you may change it. Give us a call at 1-800-477-7377 and we’ll be happy to do this for you! Please note that additional payment info may be needed if your order changes.
If a book is found to be defective, we will send you a replacement free of charge. Depending on the situation, we may ask you to return the defective book to us for our records. If there is any return shipping you will be reimbursed.
We realize there may be an occasion where the books you receive from us are not what you were expecting; we try to offer you the convenience of shopping from home with an experience as close as we possibly can to browsing through a bookstore, but we know that there’s nothing like holding a book in your hand!
If you wish to return an item, please do so within 15 days of receipt. If the item is in new condition when we receive it, you will be refunded the full price, minus shipping. You will be responsible for return shipping costs. Please pack the book well so it will receive no damage in the mail.
Some schools have their own reviewing process, and wish to go through all books with their own reviewers before placing them in their school library, with the option of returning books they feel do not fit their needs. If your reviewing process will go beyond our normal time frame for returns, we can work with you, but please let us know about your process beforehand.
