Description
A market gardening game invented by two Mennonite families in the heart of a produce-growing community! Experience the thrill of growing produce at home on your table! For eight months, you will work in your garden plots, collecting tomato, sweet corn, garlic, cucumber, and potato crop units. Thrill to the sight of your produce yielding phenomenally after a shower. Persevere despite killing frosts, hailstorms, and varmints. Increase your yields by investing in a greenhouse to cover your garden. Join your competitors in taking your crop units to market every month and receive points corresponding with the market fluctuations. If your crop is in season, you will gain additional points. At the close of the last market of the year, total your points. The player with the highest number of points wins the game. There is no money-handling, only calculating of points. Fun for all members of the family – green thumbs and otherwise! 2-6 players, 12 years and up.
