Another Hand on Mine

William J. Peterson – Dr. Carl Becker, born and raised in Pennsylvania, dreams of becoming a doctor. He prayed, “Lord, if you help me to become a doctor, I will give you everything – yes, Lord, everything.” After he was a doctor he felt the call to Africa, and practiced medicine in the heart of Congo’s Ituri forest. Dr. Becker trained African staff. God answered many prayers for Dr. Becker in the wilds of Africa. There was political unrest and the Becker family had to move around. They even had to leave the country but after 15 months they were allowed back in.
