M.E. Drewsen – This is a sobering yet touching tale of two children living in the slums of London. Their mother soon dies of smallpox, and their father is gone a lot, leaving them mostly to fend for themselves. They struggle to survive. One day they attend a Sunday school and learn about Jesus. Their Sunday school teacher takes the whole class on a little trip to a beautiful meadow in the country…while there they make a wonderful discovery!
