Lower Grades to Adult
Some time ago we began collecting Christmas songs, not only those that were widely known but also gems, new and old, that were not so well known. We soon found that in addition to new songs that were being enjoyed, there were hundreds of Christmas songs of the past that carried timeless messages, pleasing melodies, and rich harmonies. We endeavored to keep a balance between new and old songs, known songs and forgotten song, selecting those we thought would be most appreciated today. In this book you will find some songs that are hundreds of years old, some translated traditional carols from other lands, some well-known favorites and some recently composed carols. None of these songs are found in our publications and Echoes of Christmas No. 1 No. 2. We hope you will enjoy singing these songs as much as we have enjoyed selecting them! Some songs in the book: Down From His Glory/Let My Heart A Manger Be/A Child This Day Is Born/Dost Thou In A Manger Lie?/Tiny Little Baby/What Was The Name Of The Baby Boy?/The Angel Chorus/On That Christmas Eve/Run, Little Children/Do You Hear What I Hear?/Softly Gleaming, Brightly Gleaming/I Know Not How That Bethlehem’s Babe/All Praise To Thee/Peace, Christmas Peace/A Babe Is Born In Bethlehem/ Clearly In The East It Shone.
