Alice Schertle – Hetty is delighted to be walking by herself all the way to Mr. Birdie’s store to get some eggs. “Come right back!” says Papa. But on the way back Hetty reaches up to pick a few apples hanging in a tree. Oh no! The eggs fall and break! What will Mama and Papa say?
