Harriet Beecher Stowe and the Beecher Preachers

Jean Fritz – This is the life story of Harriet Beecher Stowe, and includes her family. She had seven brothers who were preachers, and three sisters. Harriet wrote the story UNCLE TOM’S CABIN, which hastened the Civil War. Some of her brothers fought in the Civil War. At the end of the book it says, “She was the best preacher of all.”
