Ira Sankey: Singing the Gospel

Melinda Fabian – Ira Sankey was a lover of song since he was young. He grew up to be an instrument of the great revivals in the later 1800’s. Moody would preach and Ira would “sing the Gospel.” For more than 25 years these two worked as a team, often holding more than one service a day.
