Jessica’s First Prayer

Hesba Stretton – Hungry and cold, Jessica appears at Mr. Daniel’s coffee stand. Will he give her something to eat? This starts an acquaintance through which Jessica learns to pray and Mr. Daniel learns about giving. Will God answer Jessica’s prayer, as she lies ill in her attic room, and send someone to rescue her?
