The Little Tree That Grew With Grace

Bertha Wiebe – Grace and her dad plant a small tree. Through the different seasons Grace is aware of the tree – how it leafs out in spring, loses leaves in fall. As it gets bigger she plays under it’s branches. Grace grows older and taller, and so does the little tree. Great is the day when the tree is big enough so her dad hangs a swing from the tree! Grace leaves home and is always glad to see “her” tree when she comes back home. When Grace’s children arrive she begins to tell her story of how she and Grandpa planted the tree when she was small.
