Elsie Hoover – “It looks like cancer”, the doctor said. The future looked bleak for Ray and Elsie Hoover, especially with a family of six children ranging from ages 2 to 16. So began a journey of which they had not anticipated, causing them to rely on God for strength to cope. Initial treatment was successful, but after 13 years they heard the dreaded word “recurrence”.
